Glamdring is an item featured in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It is a weapon wielded by the king of Gondolin and Gandalf as well.

Background[]
Glamdring is one of the swords that comes from the city of Gondolin. However, before the city falls, the sword, along with Orcrist and Sting are taken. Eventually, the trolls, William, Burt and Tom take the sword and many others and store it in their cave.
